An apology for yesterday re. the SP's - I had to post early as my wife had a hospital appointment, so I had to take the prices from my paper as the RP ones weren't up then.

Anyway, on to today - both at Uttoxeter

2:20 BLACK ANNIE (9/4) Filly taking on colts, but there's not much to beat

5:10 SEARCH MY SOUL (8/1) Decent each-way alternative to take on the short- priced favourite. This one may not win today, but long-term this is a profitable way of betting.

how much further can capello shove his tongue up rooneys preverbial rear end, for gods sake he scored a goal, yes, but he hasnt won the world cup single handed. it seems capello is only interested in shrek, hardly a word about steven gerard. England should be making an example of shites like rooney and all the others who act like morons and banish them from the national team, it would act as a deterrant to all the other prima donna,s that we the public have had enough of there immoral ways. its amazing as football fans, me included how we turn a blind eye to what these players get up to, we still watch and cheer and applaud and put to the back of our minds what they have done to there families, wives ect but imagine how the families feel of the cheated spouse, i can hardly see collens dad jumping up and down last night cos rooney had scored ( yet again )
untill we take a stand as a footballing great nation and say enough is enough and banish a high profile player for disgusting behaviour this will just go on and on, it will never happen though cos at the end of the day winning is all that counts nowadays.

Surely france must be a bit of value here at 2.40 for the win,we all know how shite they were at the world cup and even the result against belarus last weekend made them more shite...but if they have any real ambition to qualify for the euros they have to be winning against the likes of bosnia.

In saying that bosnia are no mugs and the star striker edin dzeko could make this selection look very stupid lol but i think france are worth a small bet to win,i hope the likes of benzema and malouda whos started the season well for chelsea can maybe nick it for the french.... could be a single goal decides this one:)
The...

Adrian Nicholls is bullish about Tax Free's chance of recording his first victory of the year in the Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster tomorrow.

The eight-year-old has been a great servant to his connections, winning 14 of his 39 career starts, and ran a fine race to chase home Astrophysical Jet in a Group Three at the Curragh last month.

"He ran well to finish second to a really progressive three-year-old. He's back in Listed company and he should be there with every chance. I think he'll win if he runs as well as he did last time," said the jockey.

"He's had a lighter campaign than usual and he's in great form. He's very consistent and the soft ground wouldn't bother me too much as he's won on it before and he goes on anything really. All he does is want to win, so I'm looking forward to it."

Tim Etherington's Burning Thread tops the weights after winning the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown on his latest appearance back in June, but the trainer is under no illusions about his task against seasoned campaigners.

He said: "He's got a 3lb penalty, which is pretty tough against some of these older sprinters. I'm very happy with him and I feel he's in great form, so if he runs well against these horse then that will set him up nicely for next year.

"We gave him time to develop after his last run and I think he has done as he's stronger and thicker now. The ground would be a big concern because I think he bounces off it when it's quick, but we'll see. He's a fair horse and I'm delighted with him."

Richard Fahey's Rose Blossom is owned by Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, whose racing manager Harry Herbert is hopeful she will give another good account.

He said: "Richard says she's been in great form since York (fifth in the Nunthorpe) and we were thrilled with her run there. She showed unbelievable speed.

"Hopefully she'll run well. It's a nice, valuable race to try and win and then we'll head to the Prix de l'Abbaye. There would be a slight worry about the softer ground as it could just blunt her speed, but she's in great form."

Well nothing could be further from the truth laying is without doubt the hardest game of all and you need an edge which is why bookmakers are in the few making easy money. Well my turn to share something which has worked well for me over the years making consistent profits. I am by nature risk averse and therefore you will not see any high liabilty staking or results. I back to liabilty it takes some of the risk out and my losses are managed which for me is important. How you bet is up to you.:)
Rules minimum odds exchange price 3.1 no maximum odds. I personally do not back above 16.0. The reason? I started with maximum liabilty of £30 ie: £2 stakes. I identify a points stake for lays and operate 1, 1.5 or a 2 point liabilty. For me that is £100, 150 and 200 pounds.:)
Well on to today:
455 G very well red 1 point
310 G indigo way 1 point handsome jack 2 points
525 G avertis 2 points
All the best I do not believe in sods law, for me, more systems have succeeded than failed for me at the beginning of something.

Wigmore Hall and Al Zir will lock horns in what is an intriguing Wilson Field Neurocare Conditions Stakes at Doncaster tomorrow.

Michael Bell's Wigmore Hall arrives on the back of a superb second in the Secretariat Stakes at Arlington Park last month and the trainer reports his charge to have taken those exertions in his stride.

"It wasn't my intention to run him again so quickly but he's come back from America jumping and squealing. It will be interesting to see how he gets on on this slower ground, for future reference," said Bell.

"Bearing in mind he's a gelding and we're not trying to build up a stallion profile for him, this looks a good opportunity for him. It fits in nicely with a view to a potential run in the Champion Stakes as well.

"We're going to run him because we really want to see how he handles the ground. It will either close a few doors in the future or keep a few doors open, so it makes sense to run him."

Saeed bin Suroor's Al Zir has been off the track since finishing a creditable sixth in the Derby at Epsom in June.

Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford said: "It looks a very good race and he has been off since the Derby. While we hope he'll run a nice race, he'll definitely improve for it. It's a good starting point for him and 10 furlongs is his trip.

"I'm not too worried about the weather as it's really just a question of getting the horse back on the track. There's very few races available for horses like this and we need to get a run into him. He's had a good rest and will need the run."

While Wigmore Hall and Al Zir take top billing, other interesting contenders in the seven-runner contest include Black Spirit and Taameer, the latter due to make his first start in over 500 days.

David Haye will defend his World Heavyweight title against bitter rival Audley Harrison live on Sky Box Office HD.

The WBA champion has confirmed...

David Haye will defend his World Heavyweight title against bitter rival Audley Harrison live on Sky Box Office HD.

The WBA champion has confirmed that he will make a voluntary defence of his belt at the MEN Arena, Manchester, on Saturday, November 13.

It will mean renewing rivalries with one-time friend Harrison, who has spent the last six months calling the Hayemaker out.

Harrison is number 13 in the WBA's rankings but has jumped the queue on the back of his sensational European title win, in which he knocked Michael Sprott out in the final round.

Even before that, the 2000 Olympic gold medallist has been chasing a domestic showdown with Haye, the pair having fallen out several years ago after a row over undercards.

Harrison says he let Haye fight on one of his, only to see the compliment go unreturned - and has let the world know exactly what he thinks.

The bitter fall-out will add fuel to the fire ahead of a landmark clash for British boxing

"At one stage I had a lot of respect for Audley, but over the years that respect has turned to disdain," said Haye.

"It's now time for me to go out there and close the Audley Harrison show once and for all. Audley's a big name, but he's known as a boxer that people want to see get destroyed. The public want to see one final high-profile destruction of Audley Harrison, and I'm only too happy to do my duty for the British people."

Harrison, said: "David Haye and the boxing world will be in for a shock on November 13. I told Sky Sports in 2009, that destiny would bring me and David in the ring together. Haye rubbished it and so did the boxing world.

"I've said it many times that I will be a world champion before I retire and now I get the chance to fulfil my destiny in boxing. So go ahead, write me off but I can't wait for the day when A Force Harrison, destroys Mr Haye. Yes I can."

This will be the first time in 17 years that two Britons have contested the world heavyweight title. Back in 1993 Lennox Lewis successfully defended his WBC strap against Frank Bruno at Cardiff Arms Park in Wales.

This will be Haye's second defence of the belt he won against Nikolai Valuev a year ago, following his impressive nine-round destruction of John Ruiz in April.

It means a unification showdown with either WBO and IBF king Wladimir Klitschko or his brother and WBC boss Vitali will have to wait until 2011 at the earliest.
