A perfect week for Champion Lays where all 7 bets won and we're really hitting our stride now
after a bit of a shaky start to the trial last weekend.
It didn't look good for our first bet on Wednesday night, with Motherwell falling behind toHibernian
4-1 and 6-2 before capping off a miraculous comeback with a 93rd minute equalizer to finish
the match 6-6. This was a match full of clueless defending, inept goalkeeping and there was even
a missed penalty. It really looked more like a relegation battle than a fight for Europa League
place, but in the end we got the result we needed to win the bet.
Thursday's result was much more straightforward as Allsvenskan leaders Helsingborgs took a
2-0 lead at the half. Orebro managed to pull one goal back in the 2nd half but we were never
really in danger as the hosts held on for a 2-1 win, maintaining their undefeated record at the top
of the Swedish league.
On Saturday we went 4 for 4. In the early match, Werder Bremen earned a Champion's League
spot for next season following a 1-1 draw with Hamburg. Later on, Montpellier kept up the
pressure on their rivals for a spot in Europe with a 2-1 win over Lorient, Getafe gave themselves
a great chance at qualifying for the Europa leage with a 2-1 win over Malaga, and Tenerife
equalized on the last kick of the match to earn a 2-2 draw with Almeria and keep their dream of
avoiding the drop alive. While we can feel a little lucky about Tenerife's late equalizer, the hosts
really did dominate the match and Almeria's goals came very much against the run of play. In
reality, Tenerife were quite unlucky not to come away with the win.
Our final bet of the weekend was on the big Champions League battle in Italy. Palermo and
Sampdoria battled out a hard-fought 1-1 draw, with both goals coming on penalties in the 2nd
half. This was a great result for Sampdoria, as it maintains their 2 point lead on Palermo with
one match to go. Now Sampdoria only need a home win over Napoli next weekend to guarantee
a spot in the Champions League.
This week's results give us a record of 9 winning bets and 2 losses since the trial began, which
adds up to a profit of more than $500 to $100 stakes. Results are updated regularly on the
website and you can check them out anytime here:
ChampionLays.com/Results.html
We'll try to keep up the momentum and keep the profits rolling in with some mid-week bets this
week. There are a few matches from Russia and Sweden tonight and on Tuesday, one match
from Sweden on Wednesday, and a few games from MLS, Sweden and Russia on Thursday
and Friday. I can't be sure yet if I'll be able to find any bets from these matches, but if I do find
selections I'll send out an email well in time for you to get your bets down before kickoff.

Can you do me a favour and stop posting oneliners, this post is an exception, but you had written 6 posts one after another with small oneliner replies.
I am not saying they should all be like the one above, but please use a little common sense.

Re: champion lays
i would like to question the almeria tenerife bet because for me it was a losing one the last goal was scored in extra time and wouldnt have counted as bets are settled on 90 mins are they not and almeria were a big price to lay.

Re: champion lays
Bets are settled at full time. The only "extra time" that does not count is the type added on in cup games, ie the extra two 15 min periods. Injury time added on after the 90 still counts as "Normal Time" for betting purposes.
SO the spanish game is a winning bet although as the author said, a very lucky one.Last edited by thetattyhermit; 10-05-2010 at 10:31 AM.
