Charters Racing Club
Hi everyone
Just received a flier from Charters Racing Club offering me a free trial starting on Friday the 23rd. They quote a number of long-odds winners for June including one at 25/1.
Does anyone know anything about them and is it worth me ringing their expensive 0705 telephone number?
Thanks
Robert

Re: Charters Racing Club
Got the same thing - in the bin for me !
Don't know how much an 0705 number is, but it casts a cloud over the word 'free' in free trial.

Re: Charters Racing Club
0705 numbers are basically charged as mobiles. Basically means you can answer on a mobile or landline, or activate voicemail with it.

They've been very busy. I got the same thing this morning. Binned the letter but the little glossy pamphlet will go in my recycle bag!!

Re: Charters Racing Club
I made the fatal mistake of calling the 0705 number but luckily cut it short after a few seconds -still cost me 85p. Could tell it was a scam as soon as I heard an old duffer talking at snail's pace about what Charters Racing was and how they operated. Some free trial - these people should be outlawed and all income given to charity
