Reveley's weight worry

Keith Reveley admits the handicapper has made life tough for Jass ahead of the Eider Chase at Newcastle.

The 7yo will be in search of a hat- trick on Saturday, following victories at Ayr and Doncaster.

His trainer said: "He's gone up 13lb and we could have done with something to keep the weights down, but he's in good form and got the 4m at Doncaster, so hopefully he'll run a good race."

Taz has bar raised

A tilt at the World Hurdle is firmly on the agenda for Tazbar following his fine effort in defeat at Haydock.

The 7yo went down by just a neck to Synchronised when carrying top-weight in Saturday's Pertemps Qualifier.

Trainer Keith Reveley said: "It's nice to have him back to his best and he'll probably go for the World Hurdle now. He probably has another stone to find but ran a career-best at Haydock."

Kasbah lies in wait

Keith Reveley is under no illusion as to the size of the task facing Tazbar in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle.

The trainer said: "Kasbah Bliss looked a proper horse at Haydock and he seems to have everything. You couldn't realistically think you could beat him but you don't know if you don't try and anything can happen on the day.

"It's a funny old game and he'll either be good enough or he won't."
